Photo/ Video FAQs (updated 11/06/2023)

Please read through these questions and answers. If you have questions that are not clear after reading the following items, please feel free to contact your principal photographer/ videographer.

Q. How much is a deposit?

A. 40% of your total cost.

Q. If I want to be videotaped and photographed at a public location, what do I have to do to be able to have you work there?

A. If you are planning on having us work at a public location, it is always a good idea to check in advance to see if they will allow you to take photographs/videos.

Q. How do you edit our video?

A. The way we shoot and edit video is by using candid camera film shooting and editing techniques. This means that your entire day will be condensed into multiple media forms.

Q. How do you edit our photographs?

A. While we do our best to keep editing to an honest minimum, we edit your images to enhance their natural beauty while staying true to the original emotions captured in that moment.

Q. How long does it take to finish editing our photos/video? Can we make changes to the final video?

A. Highlight Video delivery can take 6-12 months depending on how busy we are. A preview (10 photos) of your event day will be made available within 2-4 weeks. Couple and family sessions are usually completed in 2 weeks. Wedding galleries take up to 6 months depending how busy we are. We allow changes to final video only if mistakes were made on our part. Such mistakes include misspellings and other changes, which were discussed with us ahead of time. Other changes to the final photo/video can be made, but there will be a charge per hour to do so. Changes to the final photo/video, which were not caused by us, are billed at a rate of US $45.00 per hour with a minimum of 2 hours charged. These charges are not meant to be a deterrent, but changes to the final video that were not discussed with us ahead of time still take a great deal of additional editing time and excess materials.

Q. How do we get our wedding photographs/video when you are finished?

A. When we inform you that your photos/video are finished, we will send you a link to preview your gallery, photographs and final images will be delivered electronically via Pixieset.

 Q. We frequently get asked for clothing advice, so here are some tips to consider:

A. Start by creating a color palette that you adore, and then select outfits that complement each other without appearing overly coordinated. You can opt for neutrals with a few pops of color or explore a softer palette with various shades within the same tonal range. Avoid using multiple busy patterns that could compete with each other. Keep the location in mind when selecting your attire. If you’re on a beach, go for lightweight, flowing outfits. If you’re surrounded by autumn leaves, layering with rich textures is an excellent choice. Things to Avoid: Steer clear of large logos, neon colors.
